The registration desk on Sunday will be located in the La Jolla Room, Ground Level, in the large building opposite the hotel lobby and from Monday onwards within in the Mission Bay Ballroom’s Foyer on the Fifth Floor of the large building opposite the hotel lobby.

Hotel bookings are no longer available via the online registration form. Should you wish to make a new booking or make changes to an existing booking, please contact the hotel directly by using this contact form.
If you are making a new booking request, please remember to include in your message the following details: Arrival and departure date and bed type required (i.e. King or Twin). Please note the hotel will request your credit card details to secure the booking. In addition please also note that your booking or change is not confirmed until you receive the confirmation from the hotel.
Please note : As at 20 July 2016 your deposit will be retained by the hotel, if the reservation is cancelled or the delegate fails to arrive on the specified date of arrival.

Observer Expression of Interest
We have blocked a limited number of rooms at the Bahia Resort Hotel for bona-fide Fisheries Observers at a reduced rate. These will be available on a first come, first serve basis. We are also offering a reduced registration rate for all active Observers, ie those who have completed a trip within the past year. An Expression of Interest form has been created to enable Observers to register their interest and to provide evidence of their Observer status (such as their Observer ID card or a letter from a manager/executive of a recognized Observer program, etc). All Expressions of Interest will be forwarded to the steering committee who will select the delegates to obtain the reduced rates. These Observers will then be able to register using a special code. Please indicate whether you will require the discounted registration rate or both the discounted registration and lodging rate by 18 June.
Registration Terms and Conditions
The Conference Delegates and Observer registration fee entitles all delegates to the following:
- All sessions
- Satchel: program booklet
- Social functions: Welcome Reception, Conference Dinner
- Catering: Morning and afternoon teas, Lunches
Your completed registration and successful payment will be acknowledged via email with confirmation of your requirements according to your registration form. Your registration will only be processed or confirmed if payment does accompany your form.
Each member of the conference will receive a name badge upon registration. The badge will be your official pass and must be clearly visible at all times to obtain entry to all sessions and to social functions. The Conference Managers expect appropriate behaviour from attendees and reserve the right to revoke the badge and privileges of anyone behaving in an inappropriate manner.
Please note all online registrations require immediate payment by credit card. Please visit our secure website www.ifomc.com to register and book your accommodation in ‘real time’. Accepted credit cards: MasterCard, Visa and American Express. Please note all transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as payment to ‘Conference by Arinex’.

Cancellations must be notified in writing to the IFOMC Conference Managers.
- Cancellations before 11 July 2016 will incur an US$150.00 cancellation fee.
- Cancellations before 25 July 2016 will receive a 50% refund of fees payable.
- Cancellations after 25 July 2016 will not receive a refund.
One night’s deposit must be paid at time of booking to guarantee reservation, and a credit card must be provided as a guarantee for the remainder of your stay.

The program is correct at the time of publishing. The organisers reserve the right to delete, modify or alter items from the program or to delete, modify or alter any aspect of the Conference timetabling and delivery at their sole discretion and without notice. Neither the host organisation(s) nor the Conference Managers will accept any liability for any loss or inconvenience caused to any party consequent to such changes.
The Conference Managers reserve the right to use any recordings whether audio or video and/or any photographs taken at any stage during the Conference for promotional, advertising or reporting of the Conference and/or its content at their sole discretion.
